HOW DO I GET INVOLVED?
Sign up to become a member of the consortium and adhere to responsibility and agreements
RESPONSIBILITY
Individually take the responsibility to build or support young people in building their internal developmental assets, whilst also offering the support of 3, 7, 8, 9, 10, 14, 17 & 18 of the external assets. Schools - external assets 5, 12 & 16
Corporately work with other individuals to learn asset-building skills and tips that young people can utilize.
AGREEMENT
· Attend consortium meetings and events when planned
· Support consortium campaigns or initiatives
· Participate in community asset-building effort
· Volunteer in at least one listed project for the quarter
WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO DO?
Step 1 - Become an Asset-Advocate
Focus: Help a young person implement personal asset-building plan
Step 2 - Become an Asset-Builder
Focus: Plan and implement project(s) to help young people develop their assets.
Step 3 - Become an Asset-Leader
Focus: Provide leadership in asset-building programmes, activities, meetings and events
